I have just received your letter, in which you tell me that you are going to visit Ho Chi Minh City for some days. I’m sure you will have a good time here because there are several interesting places for you to see. You can go on a city sight-seeing tour that includes the City Hall, the Thong Nhat palace, the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, the Zoo, and the Dam Sen Amusement Park. All of these sights are in or near the centre of the city. If you have time, you can pay a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Which are about 40 miles from the city centre. There you will see, as well as learn from the guide, many interesting things concerning our revolutionary war.
At present I’m not very busy, so I’ll be glad to act as your guide during your holiday in my city.
I’m looking forward to seeing you.
